Nicole has spent over 39 years in the dance arts and the last 23 years focusing on dance instruction and original choreography. She received training throughout the Midwest as well as with Dance Masters of America and Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Nicole was the former owner of Lacon Center for Dance and has worked with other studios, cheer squads and colorguard programs. For her choreography, she received numerous regional and national top awards over the years as well as several choreography awards. Due to this recognition, Nicole has had the privilege of judging at various regional and national competitions as well as teaching master classes. Her dancers have gone on to dance in college dance programs, dance teams and performing arts schools. Many of her dancers have gone on to become professional dancers, actors and dance teachers. They have performed on cruise ships, regional theatre companies, and Broadway national tours. She has also had the chance to choreograph for theatre productions of “Peter Pan”, “Oliver”, “The Music Man” and “South Pacific”.
